Utah Patriot Camp Volunteer Positions

Hospitality Committee Coordinator ($25 discount)
Prepare Hospitality Committee team members to help presenters each day. Prepare thank you gifts for presenters prior to camp. Be ready to fill in where needed and available to solve problems that may arise.
Hospitality Committee Team Member (6)($25 discount)
Greet presenters for the day each day, take them to where they will present, give them their thank you gift and a couple bottles of water, have them sign a gas reimbursement invoice (if applicable), assess needs such as audio/visual, tables and chairs, etc. Take notes and pictures during first class, upload notes to daily review doc.
(Filled) Nurse/Information Director (50% off)
Each day. 3.5 hours Take care of any children who may have small injuries or other concerns. Have camper and station information if parents are looking for their children. Be the location for the lost and found. Does not need to be a professional nurse, just someone who is kind and experienced placing bandaids on small injuries.
Patriot Challenge Assistants (4 - 2 Filled) ($25 discount)
Pass off memorizations after camp each day.Prep charms prior to camp. (About ½ hour)
Snack Station Director (50% off)
Purchase snacks for the week. Be at camp every day to prepare and distribute snacks. Additional volunteers will be there to assist.
(Filled) Candle Making Director ($25 discount)
Plan for the making of the candles, purchase wax and wicks, set up and take down for the day and run the station. Will be held on Monday
Social Media Director ($25 discount)
Post on Instagram and facebook.
(Filled) Check-in Committee Director ($25 discount)
Prep all of the t-shirts, lanyards and name tags before camp and have in alphabetical order.
(Filled) Patriot Program Ice Cream Director ($25 discount)
Purchase ice cream to be served after the Patriot Program on the Friday, the last day of camp. Plan the best way to serve, how many people needed, and where the set up should be.
(Filled) Patriot Store ($25 discount)
Set up and run the store from noon to approximately 12:45 each day.
(Filled) Photographer ($25 discount)
Take pictures and/or video for at least 30 minutes each day and different times of day during camp. Capture pictures at each station daily and some opening and closing ceremonies as well as fun things happening in between.
Videographer ($25 discount)
Record the program on Friday and create a simple video to send to campers and parents.
Donations ($25 discount)
Collect in kind donations for snacks, supplies or any monetary donations to put toward camp.
No discount is offered for the jobs below. We’re just grateful for a little extra help. Still adding volunteer positions as we get closer to camp.
One day volunteer positions.
- Help pass out snacks
- Help with Thursday’s craft
- Help check in campers on Monday
- Sit with the nurse/information person for a day as back up (just in case).
- Assist the line dance teacher to help the campers learn the dance (crowd control, reviewing steps, keeping campers quiet while letting them have fun).
- Teach a Bill of Rights chant during snack time on Tuesday. (Will send a video)
- Teach a Declaration of Independence song during snack on Wednesday. (Will send video)
- Help set up 9 square on Friday (2 sets)
- Help set up platforms for program on Friday. (Need 3- 4 strong people)
